- Haden Edwards attacked the mexican Old Stone Fort to challenge the mexican authority, which sparked the Texas Revolution IN 1826.
- Turtle Bayou Resolution
- The investigation of Texan settlers. Noticeable concerns were found during this investigation.*Anglo influence was stronger than Mexican influence.*Anglo outnumbers Tejas 10:1.*They traded more with America than Mexico.
- The Arrest of SFA
- Santa Anna becomes the dictator for mexico and is elected president in 1833.
- Law of April 6,1830
- Texans wrote a letter to Mexico offering their support to Mexico and Santa Anna.
- Santa Anna found the letter from SFA the changes that should be made including that Texas should become it's own state. He spent one year in jail.
- These laws were the result of the Mier y Teran Report.
- *No immigrants from the US.*Cancelled all empresario contracts.*No more slaves brought to Texas.*Placed custody duty(tax) on all goods from the US.*Established new forts (increased military)
