One autumn day, Rip Van Winkle wanders carelessly into the mountains with his dog, Wolf, to escape his wife, Wilma's, annoying nagging.
It's beautiful out here Wolf. Don't you wish you were a tree. Wait, Wolf do you recognize where we are. It seems we've come a long way from home boy.
And who might you be sir?
Well I'm Hendrick Hudson and these are my men, the crew of Half Moon.
As they walk down the mountain, Rip Van Winkle sees an old man carrying a keg on his back, so he gives the old man a helping hand and finds himself in a cave full of strange men playing 9 pins. Van Winkle drinks and soon falls asleep., so the men leave him outside.
We've decided to let you stay and drink with us.
Pleased to make your acquaintance. Well I'm just going to put down this keg sir.
I would be happy too, thank you.
I am Rip Van Winkle.
Through day and night, rain and snow, Rip Van Winkle continues to sleep for 20 years.
When he awakens on the mountain, he discovers he has grown older and Wolf is nowhere to be found. So, Rip Van Winkle returns to his village, but no one recognizes him, and is unaware the American Revolution has taken place.
Ummmm... Vote? I don't undertand one word of this gibberish! I want no trouble, I'm a loyal subject to KIng George III.
He's a lunatic, look at him!

For those of you who can vote.......Old man, yes you, are you goung to vote?
After returning home, Rip Van Winkle discovers his wife and son aren't home, so returns to the village in seek of answers, however, no one believes he is Rip Van Winkle. Until an old friend of his confirms that what he says is true. Unfortunately, he discovers his wife is dead, but he meets his son that is now grown-up.
I'm looking for my friends and family, I am Rip Van WInkle.
See son it is me!

Does anyone recognize this man?
It's him again the spy!! So you are back old man! What are you doing here?
I carried a keg into a creepy cave and meet Hendrick Hudson and his men, the crew of Half Moon. They invited me to drink, then all of sudden I found myself sleeping for 20 years. .
Rip Van Winkle becomes a legend in his town and kept telling his story to anyone who asked, especially the children.
