The French and Indian War was a conflict between France and Indians vs the British and colonists. It was a war for who will control Ohio river valley.

Benjamin Franklin proposed the Albany plan of union which was the plan to unite the 13 colonies to unite and fight France.
The Treaty of 1763 ended the war in 1763.
The treaty gave Britain Ohio river valley and Canada. France lost power and money because they lost land.
Britain imposed the proclamation of 1763 on the colonists which prohibited them to go over the Appalachians.
The war cost Britain a lot of money so they taxed the colonists and they became angry.
