Hey scientist do you think that I will be able to dig through the entire earth and come out the other side????
Maybe we should try it!!!
I don't know.
Watch out there is a big whole.
But I stl want to see if I can
Oh I see.
It will probably get to hot and you will probably die or you get really hurt.
If you look at the earth then it might be hard to dig all the way through the earth.
These 2 make up the lithosphere
1. The Crust is the outer part of the earth. 2. The Mantle is is the part of the earth between the core and the the crust 3. The Outer core is another layer of the earth that is liquid and 2,200 km thick. 4. The Inner core is the middle of the earth and it is the hottest layer in the earth and it is a solid ball.
This is the middle of the earth
The challenges of digging through the earth will be you getting to hot and it will get harder every time you go through the next layer. The challenge getting through the crust will be that the ground will be really hard and it will be hard to shovel. The challenge digging through the mantle will be that it will get hot and you will get really tired of shoveling and you will hit dirt. The challenge digging through the outer core will be that you will get over heated and your body will start to hurt from the shoveling and from taking in all the heat. The challenge digging through the inner core is that you will over heat and you will get 3rd degree burns on your body and you will get really hurt and you might almost die. Then if you get past the inner core you will have to go through the outer core and then the mantle and then the crust and that will take a long time and you will probably die because you will over heat and you will get 3rd degree burns on your body and it hurts.
