  • when they found out that he was lieing and doing it for fun they sentenced him to 2 days worth of wiping in public then put on a cart and welled around getting wiped 
  • Titus Oates would tell lies that would lead to peoples death .
  • The 8th Amendment
  • in court they would use that to get the people not to lie, but after a wile they said that it was a cruel punishment 
  • the 2nd amendment
  • "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." is what the amendment says, its very veg but still has some information.
  • there have been debated over that right means the most common view the the 2nd amendment protects individual liberty. it was also used for self defense. there was a fear that the that the constitution made the federal government too powerful
  • "No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law."
  • the 3rd amendment
  • the amendment  came from the quartering act when solder would kick people out of their homes so they had a plays to stay. the king would would use that to punish towns. it was banned in England but not in the colones.
