In the tundra, located in the polar areas, the temperature is far more colder that the other 5 biomes. The rainfall there consists of 6-10 inches and vegetation is rare in these cold areas. Some animals though do live in these parts. Three of these animals are the Snowy owl, lemmings, and Musk Oxen. Some adaptations required are adaptations like warm fur or a warm coat in the snow like area. A example of this is the snowy owl, the snowy owl has a huge thick coat to keep itself warm in the snowy tundra, this also can be used to hide and catch prey. If you were to place this owl in the forest though it wouldn't adapt , their snowy coat would be seen easily by prey, making it hard for the snowy owl to hunt.
In the forest, located mostly in the northern hemisphere but can be found anywhere around the world. The average temperature in the forests is around 70 degrees year round. The average rainfall is 15 to 20 inches per year. The common plants consist of many, many different types of grass species, there is different tree species as well, like the Larch, Tamarock and or the green spruce tree. All these trees have the same thing in common, they all have dark bark, that blends in with the plants and with the forest in general. All these trees only live in the forest though, if you were to place them in the Tundra they wouldn't survive as long since they don't have the common rainfall and dark colors to blend in as well.
The ocean is mostly located mostly everywhere you think it could be. The ocean doesn't get a average rainfall nor does it have a temperature like the other biomes. The common plants here consist of sponges, starfish and anemones (and more). The animals that are in the ocean are the Coral, Fish and the plankton
