  • The Articles of Confederation was a document that was established as a guide of the United states government after war with Britain. The power was balanced between federal and state governments by giving the states protection of power and giving the government less control. they created this structure so that the federal government would be powerful and the people would be able to put in thought.
  • I'm so glad that we are not ruled by our government and have more freedom.
  • The biggest weakness of the Articles of Confederation is that there was no central leadership and the government did not have the power to tax. This weakness was problematic because it caused with no money they could not pay for debts owed and other nations stopped connecting
  • Taxes are needed so the country can function and get all debt payed off.
  • With no court system states could ignore laws given by gov.
  • A weakness in the AOC was that there was no national court system which meant that the states could not file complaints on government.
  • The Northwest ordinance was a very important decision , hopefully it does well.
  • The Northwest ordinance was made for the North west territory and admitted a new state to the union. The Northwest ordinance also banned slavery in new territory. Once the population reached 60,000 it was available to enter the union.
  • Setters in the Northwest region would have the right of freedom of religion and other civil liberties. Slavery was outlawed and helped make more states non slave states.
  • I think that the NWO with turn out well cause it has already made needed changed in our government.
  • After shays rebellion i think that when the us government knew they had step up their game.
