- Ecosystems are a biological community of different organisms, right?
- But where are the decomposers?
- That bush over there is an abiotic element helping to hide that snake from its prey
- Yep! and that over there is a good example of a simple food chain
- That is a great example of biotic elements in the wild!
- Different species interact with each other via food chains and food pyramids which have producers, consumers, and decomposers
- There's one of them now!
- Let's move deeper into this excellent ecosystem!
- This is due to human activity, like hunting and deforestation.
- A population is the number of a certain species in an area. For example, the deer population in 2017 was 33 million and is going down
