In the beginning, God created Adam. He was able to eat from every tree but the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
But Adam needed a partner, because "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make a helper fit for him." So God created Eve.
God created Eve out of Adam's ribs. As said in Genesis 2:22, "This is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, for out of man she was taken."
When Adam and Eve were together they felt no shame, and they were each able to love each other just as God loved them. As said in Genesis 2:25, "The man and his wife were both naked, yet they felt no shame."
