this scene is man vs self because lyddie is thinking about her money and her mom and she does nit know what to do. The characters are Lyddie and her inerself or her concience wich is basically her mind trying to tell her what to do with her money. This is the quote "She tried not to resist withdrawing money to send to her mother, but she could see her balance grow each payday.
this scene shows man vs man because lyddie and Betsy were in conflict and they where arguing so it would be man vs man "Were all working like Black slaves is what" said Betsy. "Oh you wouldn't said Amelia." In this scene Amelia and Betsy are there. Amelia belives that doing work in the mills is good and Betsy believes that the mills are making young girls work like slaves.
this scene shows man vs nature because this show how a bear went inside lyddies home to take there for and it show nature because bears are part of nature and the bear and lyddie had conflict. Lyddie is trying to stay safe from the bear and the bear is a natural creature so it is man vs. nature the quote is "Lyddie glared straight into the bears eyes daring him to step forward into the cabin".
