Louis XIV's Execution

You have been commited of treason, and therfore you are sentenced to death.
This scene depicts the Oath of the Tennis Court. This took place after the king would not let the third estate stay together, they had to split up. After this frustrating event, they made this Oath. This was significant because they had now set up a rebellion committee called the National Assembly of France and made an oath. This was a huge step for the French revolution.

This scene takes place when the Declaration of the Rights of Man is made. This is basically the Declaration of Independence but for the French Revolution. This was a very significant document because it laid out the needed basic rights of people.
This scene is when King Louis XIV is executed. Once he left Paris he was caught and was sentenced to death. He was another victim of the guillotine. After Louis was killed France went in to the Reign of Terror because there was no clear leader and there was fight for power in the country. King Louis's death is important because he was tyrannical leader that spent too much of France's money. After he was dead it made a huge change in everyone's life.
This scene is when the people of Paris march onto Versailles and protest their rights. From the inside the king hears all the shouting and speeches that took place. This is significant because it was the first revolt of the French Revolution. It also made King Louis XIV realize all the mistakes that he has done.
