What effects did power and social class have on the lives of ancient Indian people?
Praise me! Revere me!
You heard him! Get to work!
Do people in the Caste let "superiority" get over their heads?
GET TO WORK YOU FILTHY PEASANTS!!!
How were slaves treated?
Why?! They're just Untouchables!
Power & Social classes effected the lives of those who were not Caste members. For example, the Priest were treated with high regard since they are on the top of the social class. On the opposite hand, peasants were treated low, being discriminated against and bullied by those superior to them.
Like I stated before, priest were on the top, and they basically worshipped their deities.
Due to the Social classes, slaves and/or peasants/laborers were treated poorly as if they were trash. Even after the Caste was made illegal in 1949, people in lower ranks were still under prejudice and being looked down upon.
