Storyboard Text

  • oh. kind of like that one Mesoamerican ball game?
  • In soccer, you're not allowed to use your hands.
  • The Mesoamerican ball game is a ball game played by ancient civilizations in Central and South America.
  • Whats that?
  • Players moved the ball around by hitting the ball with their hips, thighs, elbows, wrists, and chests, there hands and feet were not allowed to touch the ball.
  • The ball was made of natural rubber from the sap of a tree. It could be as large as a volleyball.
  • The main goal bounce the ball without using their hands through stone hoops attached to the sides of the ball court, this would score you a point. In the end the losing team would most likley die.
  • I  hope you understand the Mesoamerican ball game now.
  • I get it! That sounds scary, but also fun!
