  • The state of New York will be refusing to comply, we will force the soldiers to stay on their ships! The states must unite to combat against British authority. It’s about time for our independence.
  • Any objections, unanimous vote? Proceed to write King George III to withdraw his Intolerable Acts.

  • The colonist realized that the Quartering Act was just another tax, they opposed paying provisions and barracks for the army. The Quartering Act was circumvented, which allowed for it to expire on March 24, 1776.
  • WE DON’T NEED YOUR PROTECTION!
  • The U.S. government has disputed that the legality of this Act violated the Bill of Rights, which forbid taxation without representation and the raising or keeping a standing army without the consent of Parliament. In the near future, a constitution will be established without the consent of the Owner, no soldier shall be quartered in any house.
  • The repeal of the Quartering Act will soon lead to the construction of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Ultimately, America will begin its discussion of seeking liberty from their mother country, Britain.
