"Beat me! Throw me down and beat me, you little coward!"
Hey! Hey, Tom! Wait, take me with you. Get me out of here!
Mr. Wilson has Mrs. Wilson locked upstairs after finding out about her affair. Finally Mrs. Wilson got sick of it and ran outside yelling at him.
Earlier that day Tom stopped by the Wilson's house in this yellow car. However, she did not know it was not actually his. So, when she saw it coming back the other way she figured it was Tom driving and she ran out into the road trying to get his attention. Instead Daisy was driving with Gatsby in the passenger seat.
A yellow car came speeding down the road as Myrtle was running out into the road.
No, no, no! This might destroy Daisy. She will think it was her fault.
Daisy swerved away from Myrtle, but she realized there was another car coming in the opposite direction so she would get in a head on collision. This caused her to turn back; resulting with Daisy hitting Myrtle.
I'm afraid so. It was you wasn't it. You killed her?
Daisy was driving?!
Daisy never stopped and just drove away. A crowd gathered around to see what happened. Shortly after Tom, Nick, and Jordan pass by. Tom sees the crowd and becomes curious to know what happened.
Huh... What's going on?
When Tom pushes through the crowd he sees Daisy lying dead. Shocked, he asks Mr. Wilson what had happened. Mr. Wilson along with other witnesses describe Gatsby's car driving by and committing a hit and run.
Is she dead?
Tom, Nick, and Jordan arrive back at Tom's house. Tom invites both Nick and Jordan inside to wait for a cab. However, Nick sees Gatsby by the bushes and rejects the offer. When Tom goes inside Nick goes over to Gatsby, questioning him about hitting Myrtle. Nick than learns that it was Daisy driving, but Gatsby is willing to take the blame.
