  • Huerta learned to read and write as a kid growing up in a poor family.
  • Huerta joined the military and looked up to Napolean a lot.
  • In February 1913, Herta led a conspiracy and revolt against Madero.
  • During the Ten Tragic Days, Madero was forced to resign and arrested by Madero, who staged an illegal coup.
  • Madero become dictator for 17 months and during that time, oppressed people and did not allow protests.
  • Madero is forced out of the presidency by Villa & Zapata and Carranza & Obregon, people supporting the revolution. He is eventually is forced to be in prison in France.
