  • We shall name him Siddhartha
  • Move out of the way, prince Siddhartha is coming this way
  • What is this
  • Oh no
  • Buddha also known as Siddhartha Gautama was born around 563 B.C. in a kingdom in what now is Nepal. As born in a wealthy kingdom Siddhartha could have been a king or a religious leader. But his father as a king wanted him to be a king.
  • Will you teach me your knowledge 
  • Siddhartha was held back to never see what life was really like such as pain, oldness, suffering, and fear. When Siddhartha is going on a chariot ride, his guards make sure that Siddhartha does not see any suffering or begging people. Therefore he would always be happy.
  • Aum Aum
  • One day when Siddhartha was 29 he was on a chariot ride with his driver and there was no gourds. While going down the road Siddhartha saw something, he saw an old suffering old man that wanted food. After that Siddhartha thought differently about the world.
  • Woah!
  • The light is blinding me
  • One night siddartha left the castle to find answers about life. Siddhartha began by studying with the hindu gurus about self denial and starved himself to see what it feels like to be poor. After a couple weeks Siddhartha was ready to reach enlightenment.
  • After many knowledge, Siddharthawas ready. Siddhartha sat under a Buddha fig tree and meditated for 49 day strait. In the middle of that meditation he was thinking and alining with the universe.
  • After 49 days Siddhartha has achieved his great enlightenment and is now Buddha. Nearby Ascetics watched and praised the Buddha and ever since that day Buddha has taught and showed how people can be enlightened. Today Monks and Nuns study Buddhism all around the world.
