Romeo and Juliet assessment
This storyboard does not have a description.
Romeo is unaware of the plan and does not know Juliet will wake up
Oh my love, my wife! Death, who sucked the honey of your breath, has not stolen your beauty.
Romeo then dies due to the poison he bought from the druggist
Come, bitter poison! pilot my sick and weary ship onto rocks! Here's to my love! Honest druggist, your poison is fast. A kiss, and I die, with Juliet at last.
(Juliet then wakes)
Oh Friar! Where is my lord? Where is my Romeo?
Romeo! You are pale. What? Paris too, covered in blood? What an unkind hour! The lady moves.
What's this? A cup closed in my true love's hand? Poison, I see, has killed him. Romeo! You drank it all, and did not leave a friendly drop for me? I will kiss your lips. Perhaps some poison hangs on them to kill me, too. Your lips are still warm
Juliet bleeding, still warm, newly dead. Go tell the Prince! Run to the capulets! Wake up the Montagues!
I know what has happened.
Let us not cry anymore until we can figure out what happened.
The prince is unaware that Friar has secretly married Romeo and Juliet so Friar is the only one that knows what actually happens.
