Abigail is a very controlling person. She will lie to get what she wants. She can aso be manipulative. She tries to blame other people of being witches so that she doesn't get in trouble/ get what she wants.

Rebecca Nurse is highly respected by the town and other surrounding towns as well. She is a very kind lady and doesn't believe in witchcraft. She wants to show people that witchcraft is not real.
Parris is a greedy person. He is very worried about his reputation/ daughter and he's ambitious. He wants to be respected by the people in the town. He doesn't want to lose his spot as the reverend.

John Proctor is a hardworking man. He was unfaithful but wants to fix what he destroyed. He is a good man. He wants to be able to see the truth about the situation with Abigail and the trail.

Mrs. Putnam is a gossiper. She lost 7 children. She is also paranoid and crazy. I could consider her being jealous of Rebecca Nurse. She wants to be able to communicate with her dead children and know why they died.

Marry Warren gets pushed around. People don't really care about her opinion. She is very lonely and naive. She wants to tell the truth but she's scared because she doesn't want to get punished.
