So many years have past. I am so sorry I have not kept you up to date. Here is the Battle of Yorktown a critical turning point in the war in which my French and American forces take a large chunk of the British army and seize the last big strong point of British power in America.
This where I will soon lead my troops across the Delaware River to attack the British in a major victory for my side. *Ahh* Here they come.

At last the end of the war. The British surrender at Yorktown ended the war. We still aren't recognized as independent though. *Ah* I almost forgot the last slide.
My celebrity status in France helped win French approval to help with the war. The Treaty of Alliance which was signed in 1778 was a turning point in which France opened trade and support to the American colonies.
