Storyboard Text

  • What was that ? A meteor ?
  • Steve ? What was that ?
  • I don't understand it. It was working before...
  • It's always that way, in every story I ever read about a ship landing from outer space. They looked just like humans.
  • Well, I guess what we'd better do then is to run a check on the neighborhood and see which ones of us are really human.
  • At the sound of the roar and flash of light it will be precisely 6:43 pm on Maple Street. It may not be a meteor as it may seem, watch closely as our tragic plot begins.
  • You killed him, Charlie. You shot him dead!
  • It's Pete Van Horn.
  • Electricity's off. Phones won't work. Can't get anything on the radio. The power mower won't move, won't work at all. Things have begun to take a turn on Maple Street.
  • What about Steve's radio-He's the one that called them.
  • It's ... it's the kid. It's Tommy. He's the one!
  • It isn't the kid ... it's Bob Weavers house.
  • Suspicion rises
  • 1.  Just sit back and watch the pattern.
  • 3.    Let them destroy themselves.
  • 2.   It is not unique.
  • Pete Van Horn was checking the other neighborhood for lights. What if he had something important to say and Charlie killed him to prevent the truth from coming out.
  • Accusations are thrown everywhere and people are turning on each other.
  • It's Charlie. He is the one.
  • Sometimes through fear and selfishness we become the monsters. Through fright people destroy themselves.
