The Millers were a happy family. Jack and Jill are both 32 years old and they had a wonderful 8 year old boy named Jacob. Jacob loves to play soccer while Jack and Jill like to write children's stories for a living.
But then one day a terrible hurricane came destroyed their house
They were very sad and heartbroken that they no longer had a house to live in.
But then they remembered that they could apply for FEMA. FEMA provides grants to qualified homeowners to repair damages caused by a natural disaster not covered by insurance. Since the Millers qualify for a grant from FEMA, they decided to apply.
Although the FEMA grants did help the Millers a lot, now Jack and Jill have to work a lot harder and longer so that they no longer need the help from FEMA.
After a lot of hard work and perseverance, the Millers were finally able to repair their home and make it as good as new but not without the help of their favorite government program, FEMA.
