Storyboard Text

  • So I am a Patheolithic man and I was wondering how you trade? Us people rarely ever trade
  • In the Neolithic age we were very skilled with crafts so we traded with the town settlers for materials.
  • Beware of Piranhas
  • How did you manage to trade with other groups? Would you have you travel very far?
  • Yes we would travel far, but this would improve the work of technology.
  • Its been a long walk with you but lets bring this to an end, what did you guys trade?
  • Wow, thanks for helping me out, now ill get back in contact with my tribe.
  • Honestly, we could trade anything but lets let the box below us answer for us.
  • Patheolithic aged people were not familiar with trading and rarely did. But, the Neolithic people were very skilled with their work and wanted to improve their innovations. As people settled in towns and villages trading became more popular.
  • Neolithic people travel long ways for these materials. For example, traders would often travel hundreds of miles in search of these materials. They would either ride donkeys across deserts and sail the Mediterranean sea on ships.
  • Some popular trading materials were flint and obsidian. Crafts people would use obsidian for knife blades, arrowheads, and mirrors. Something else that people traded for was beauty products like shells ornaments and a red ore called hematite which acted as lipstick or blush.
