  • Rosencrantz, Cornelius and Hamlet discuss the actors coming in
  • There are actors coming in, they are young but very good.
  • How can they feel so much emotion without actually experiencing it?
  • Hamlet has the actors recite lines and makes a plan to expose Claudius for the murder, Polonius still believes Hamlet is mad over his daughter.
  • Can you recite some lines for me? If I added lines could you memorize them for the performance?

  • Hamlet plans to use the actors to expose Claudius, although he is annoyed at their emotional response to something they have not experienced he decides to use it to his advantage.
  • The actors are praised for showing emotion and I am looked down upon for it despite having actual reasons. After I add lines to the play, Claudius will be confirmed guilty through his reaction.
