Sir Ector son, Kay, was going for a big jousting tournament. He got all of his men and his squire (his adopted younger brother) ready early and they left. The squire's name was Arthur, but everyone calls him Wart. Anywho, Kay was ready for his joust.
Kay was so excited that he forgot his sword. His face is placed in his arms, with his toes facing towards him, knees slightly bend. His face was sweating. He calls his squire, and tells him to go get his sword which is at the church. But what neither of them knew was that the church was locked, because no one was able to guard the church since everyone is watching the tournament.
Once Wart realized the church was locked he turned around and found something shiny. It was a sword stuck into a stone. When the king died the stone was placed. Wart did not know that. On the sword there was writing. "Whoso pulleth out this sword of this stone and anvil is rightwise king born of England."
