Once there was a divided kingdom between two twin brothers Numitor and Amulius.
Amulius seized Numitor's half of the kingdom and in order to stop him from ever seizing the kingdom he send Numitor's daughter, Rhea Silvia to be a vestal virgin.
Rhea Silvia was incidentally impregnated by the God, Mars and as punishment she was sentenced to spend the rest of her life in prison. Amulius sentenced both babies to death but instead the boys, Remus and Romulus were raised by the creatures who lived on the banks a river.
Later in life Remus was in prison with Numitor, so Faustulus, one of people that helped saved Remus, told him the truth about his birth and family.
Remus escaped prison and found Romulus. Then they both went and confronted their uncle with a large crowd behind them.
The boys overthrew their great uncle, Amulius and gave the kingdom back to its rightful ruler grandfather, Numitor and freed their mother from prison.
