To Summit î
They pay Ebenezer Dorset and try to bring Red Cheif Home
1. Red Cheif gets angry at Sam and Bill and wants to go back to the cave. 2. Sam runs really far away and Bill even farther.
Bill and Sam ran as far away from Summit as they can, without Red Cheif.
The theme is crime can lead to negative consequenses, because their crime was when they kidnapped Red Cheif for money and it turned out that, Red Cheif really misbehaves and likes to hurt people, and noone really wants him.In the text it says "We'll take him home, pay the ransom and make our getaway ." This shows that they didn't get their money, but they had to pay. Their crime was that they kidnapped Johnny and then Johnny was all mean and rude and they still had to pay Ebenezer the money.
