  • Lexington and Concord
  •  "Stand your ground. Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war let it begin here." Captain John Paarker,
  • Battle at Trenton
  • "If freedom of speech is taken away,then dumb and silent we may be led, like a sheep to slughter"George Washington. 
  • Saratoga 
  • "Let me die in this old uniform in which I fought my battles. May God forgive me for ever having put on another." Benedict Arnold 
  • On April 19, 1775 the Battle of Lexington and Concord. Captain John Parker, on the American side, and General William Howe, on the British side, were at war. This battle was the first battle of the Revolutionary war. Of course America won!
  • Camden 
  • December 26,1776 George Washington (the American side) led only a few of his men to fight.  By the time the Americans had won the  war the American side had new recruits. This ment many new and diffrent people were coming together.
  • Charles Town 
  • "Sixty days have passed since it has been known that your intentions toward this town was hostile, which times has been afforded to abandon it, but duty and inclination point to the property of supporting it to the last extremity" Benjamin Lincoln (a American fighter)
  • At this point the Americans have won there 3rd major battle. General Gates and Benedict Arnold on the American side have defeted the British leader Burgoyne. This is the turning point of the Revolutionary war. 
  • Battle Of Yorktown
  • August 16,1780, the Battle of Camden was fought. The American leader Baron De Kalb and the British leader Lord Cornwallies were ready to fight a WAR. . The British unfourtantly won and America lost almost all of their southern army.
  • “Left Wing and North Carolina Militia gave way, General Caswell and Myself, assisted by a number of Officers did all in our power to rally the broken Troops, but to no purpose; for the Enemy’s Cavalry, coming round the Left Flank of the Maryland Division, completed the Rout of the Whole of the Militia, who left the continentals alone, to oppose the Enemy’s Whole Force.” Gates (a solider)/ giving this to a messenger
  • On March 29,1780 the Charles Town battle broke out.The only leader that was known to be was on the British side, General Henry Clinton. The British had won this battle due to the many captures and surrenders on the Americans end.  The importance is that the British gained control of the south and the Americans lost many of their fighters.  
  • September 28-October 19, 1781! Washington and Rochambeaw with the Americans and Cornwallies with the British.This was the last major battle for the Americans in the Revolutionary War. Before the war Cornwallies signed a surrender paper. The war was going until Cornwallies and 8,000 surrendered to Washington.The Americans had won the whole war.THE END!
