We are over the location. Getting into position.
US soldiers get into position and will soon release Agent Orange which is an herbicide and defoliant chemical, one of the "tactical use" Rainbow Herbicides. It is called Agent Orange because the chemicals make it orange when it is released.
Releasing Agent Orange now.
What's that coming from the helicopter?
It's destroying all of the crops!
Vietnamese civilians watch as a US helicopter flies over and starts to release Agent orange from the back. Their crops are slowly dying and will soon suffer the terrible effects.
All of the crops are gone! What do we do now?
The civilians are shocked after what just happened and they realize that, that was an American helicopter and they are angry because they are hurting innocent civilians and making them pay even though they aren't apart of the war.
Theses Americans are destroying innocent peoples lives with this! We have nothing to do with the war!
Vietnam and Vietcong soldiers are aware of Agent Orange and are planning on what to do when their hiding spots are uncovered.
I hear an aircraft! Must be Americans.
Our cover has been broken! Seek hiding!
Agent Oranges main purpose was to blow the enemies cover and make it easier to find them. This worked, but came with many great consequences.
The enemies cover is blown, but the soldier on the left has asked a very important question. Can Agent Orange have an impact on American soldiers too? The answer to that is yes and many soldiers who fought missions that involved this have been impacted by Agent Orange.
