- long time ago in athens greece there was a group of people very respected , they were citizens but citizens could only be free man over 20 years, that had land, not woman but dont think woman were angry they just respected and stayed quiet
- but one day a girl that was almost 7 started thinking that boys and girls were educated equally with basic needs until they were 7. After that each girl needed to go home and learn more basic things but they needed to learn the bases of being a house wife , that means cleaning , washing ,taking care of kids and more and they learn it in a special part of the house were only woman could go.
- they were also pushed to marry around 14 or 15 years and had no power to say no. they were also told to have children and they had no power to diced anything about the baby and if the man wanted to have more children she had to . A woman could not go out side home with out men or his permission.
- girls learned a lot about how to work at home cleaning , washing .etc . but they could learn some basic thing about music , a little bit about writing , if they were lucky they could, learn some things of reading.
- the only ones that could go to the agora were citizens. As woman could no be citizen, a woman could not attend to the agora . if a woman wanted to blame a man that was citizen for some thing no one would listen to her.
- one of the few things poor woman could do is help her husband in job by farming cause farmers were a important part of the economy of the city cause they needed to trade and once the farmers could not work all the economy of the city went down .
