Marjane Satrapi has a very unique way of making literature.
She does not use any colors in her graphic novels besides black and white.
Oh goodness, this is high up. Anyways, that is why she really stands out to me.
In her stories we read in class like, "The Letter" and "The Veil" they both expressed things very well while limiting themselves to black and white.
MY HAIR! Oh my! Anyways just because her stories are in black and white does not mean that they are boring and lame, in fact, there is a lot you can do while limiting yourself to those colors, like expressing one color but not the other.
Don't look at my hair guys. Anyways, ladies and gentlemen, that is why Marjane Satrapi is one of the greatest examples of creativity in literature today. Thank you.
