Teacher: "Research must include: cause of death (if extinct), years active, living environment, food, and any other facts that pertain to each species' survival!!"
Teacher: "Now that we've completed our True/False Quiz, it's time for you all to begin your independent research on ten species."
"Now that you've completed your research, I'd like to introduce six new terms that may help you further identify the species you've chosen. Also, choose your favorite species researched at this moment."
Compare research findings and prepare a short explanation for your group as to why they chose that species to be their favorite!
Each group is to prepare a poster or photo collage of each member's favorite species researched. Additionally, prepare a handout to turn in that includes each member's facts from their research.
"Today marks the first day of presentations! You will have 10 minutes with your group before presenting. Reminder: each group is allotted 7 minutes."
