  • On June 2nd, 1774, the Quartering Act was established. This allowed American troops to be quartered in private homes and facilities. This angered many colonists and raised tensions with Britain.
  • Declaratory Act (p.1)
  • Throw that British tea!
  • Colonists began to protest, and one day a group of protestors became especially hostile.

  • The colonists are getting out of hand! We need to control them.
  • The chaos caused British soldiers to fire, killing 5 men. This event was widely publicized by colonial officials like Samuel Adams, who marked this event as start of the Revolution.
