- Gatsby admired Cody as a young child because of Cody's riches and success.

- Gatsby was given a fortune of money after Cody died, and Cody died from a boat crash while being drunk.

- Ugh Im bored, ill get a drink from Gatsby's why not... Is that Nick???
- Nick is relaxing at Gatsby's house and he is surprised to see Tom there, Nick walks over to Tom.
- Tom? oh my god...
- (ugh, why is Gatsby doing this.)
- As Nick is going to greet Tom, Gatsby also approaches Tom and invites everyone to dinner, including Daisy.
- sighs* nice to meet you.
- nice to meet you Tom, I know Daisy.
- Tom is suspicious of Daisy and Gatby's relationship, so they both go to Gatsby's house and Tom decides to watch her since he thinks she could possibly be cheating.
- (hmm what could Gatsby be up to....)
- This is no fun...
- Daisy is having a bad time at Gatsby's party. Tom tells Daisy that Gatsby makes money illegally, so that she won't like him. This makes Daisy mad and she eventually leaves the party with Tom. Gatsby is upset because Daisy wasn't enjoying herself.
- Tom, I can't take this anymore I'm leaving
- oh no, Daisy is gonna leave...
