  • temperate forests are forests found in temperate regions between polar and equatorial zones.
  • the climate in temperate forests is cool they experience mild summer and winters. the temperature varies from -30c to 30c the precipitation is from 750mm- 1,500mm
  • the different types of animals are insects, frogs, turtles, bears, fish, deer, foxes, and many more.
  • pioneer species are the first to colonize previously damaged ecosystems. human activity has been detected for thousands of years. everything regrew throughout the years.
  • One example of coevolution in the deciduous forest is the relationship between the different levels of plants within the forest. There are a large number of plant species in the deciduous forest, ranging from small understory herbs and flowers to large canopy trees, all of which are competing for the large but limited amount of sunlight.
