Storyboard Text

  • A student of Confucius, leaves his home, Kapyong to Kang-won Province for some reason. During his travel on horseback, his servant somehow died. Little after his servant died, his horse died too.
  • The young man did not know what to do, so he just broke down and cried. Sooner or later, the young man met an old man.Te old man had asked why the young man was crying and the young man told him why. The old man tool pity on him and told the young man that there was a house just over yonder. 
  • The young man had saw a grove of pines, a whole forest of huge trees.  Countless numbers of bamboo appeared with a wide stream of water flowed by. A mile or less, the young man saw the house along with an old man who appeared to be the master of the house. The old master soon invited him in to eat.
  • The young man ate heartily.  The master commanded his servants to call in his children.  Two boys, about thirteen or twelve came into the dining room, both sitting next to their father. The master had asked his son when the wedding should be and they said the day after tomorrow.
  • When that day arrived, the young man was accompanied to the Palace of the master. On arrival, a guide directed him to the special Palace Beautiful.  As he entered, he saw many beautiful women waiting, Little later, she came, accompanied by a host of others, shining in jewels and beautiful clothing. When he saw her, he took his stand before her, though her face was hidden. After, everyone had dined well.
  • One day, his wife asked if he wanted to see what the fairies see and he gladly accepted. She then led him to a special park filled with fascinating views with springs of water and sparkling cascades, As they walked along, the scene could only grow more with jeweled flowers and scintillating spray, and lovely birds and animals.
