  • Proclamation of 1763
  • The Mother Country is crazy to think we will stay off of the land that we earned. 
  • If the king thinks we will listen. He has another thing coming.
  • Why are they here. We have not done anything wrong. 
  • Boston Massacre 1770
  • Boston Tea Party 1773
  • The people felt betrayed and they deserved that land for helping win the French and Indian war.
  • First Continental Congress 1774
  • We must tell Parliment that their rules are not fair towards us.
  • 5 colonists died, and they blamed the soldiers. They demanded that they leave.
  • Lexington and Concord 1775
  • I can not believe they think they do not need us. Send troops to keep them in line.
  • This act was another example of the English not allowing the colonies to have a say in the decisions that effect them.
  • Lexington and Concord 1775
  • The colonies sent representatives to meet and discuss their complaints to Parliment. This event brought the colonies together in their fight against England.
  • Parliment rejected the requests of the Continental Congress, and sent an army to Lexington and Concord.
  • The battle lines were drawn and the American Revolution had begun. After the blood was spilled the 2nd Continental Congress met in Philadelphia to discuss the new war.
