  • A roman school-boy walks to school with two of his slaves, one of them, the Paedagōgus, is in charge of protection and behaviour, the other just carried the schoolbooks and writing equipment
  • The school is in a rented room or a public place such as the forum because they did not have specific buildings for school
  • In the first stage of schooling, they learnt Greek, Latin and very basic arithmetic
  • The equipment required for this teacher is Papyrus and Goose-quill, but most teachers accept Tabulae and Stilus
  • Roman Schooling was fairly cheap in the first stage of it, but as the stages went on it got more expensive
