- That's a good opportunity, but what is the cost
- Hey, did you hear about the ticket to the promised land that you can get?
- To be free in the promised land you need to do something called indentured servitude, where you work for someone for 5 to 7 years in exchange for a contract
- Because people were hesitant to come to America because of rising conflicts and it was super expensive, plantation owners would give them a free ride to America for 5 to 7 years of hard work and labor

- 5 to 7 years of hard work working for your servants, and if you made even a little mistake, you would get beaten
- Sounds hard, but it's the only choice I have.
- Lots of indentured servants don't make it and die during this time, and most end up with bad injuries
- They are doing this because it's become harder to attract new laborers.
- The labor was hard with lots of injuries and some even dying during Indentured servitude. Lots of people that wanted to go to America and thrive there, this was their only choice.

- Ugh, this is really hard, maybe it's fine if I take a little break for myself.
- Indentured servitude is very tiring, with about 9 to 10 hours a day
