Greece plotting against Persia
My men, you need to get the word out to all of my 7,000 soldiers that we need to cut of Persia's army supplies in the river to keep them from reaching Athens!
King Darius ordered his military men to Marathon to eliminate the Greeks. The Greeks ended up never coming. The Persians later decided to pack up their ship and leave after waiting for 3 days. Little did the Persian military know , the Greeks were attacking to catch them off-guard. The Athenians ended up winning.
Battle of Thermopylae

The Persians got angry because of the invasion from the Greeks . Then, King Xerxes decided to invade Greece as well as send 200,000 of his troops. The Greek city states banded together to be able to stand a chance against Persia. Finally, Themistocles of Athens called in his navy to make a battle plan of action.

Battle of Plataea
Let's just stop fighting and be at peace once and for all! Okay??
The Persians ended up defeating the Spartans at Thermopylae. They won because a traitor gave the coordinates of the Greeks. King Leonidas chose his best 300 men to fight to the end. Grievously, the Persians won Battle of Thermopylae.
They are over there!!! SHHH
Themistocles of Athens came up with a plan to attack Persia's ships. The Athenians led the Persian's ships into a strait where they could not move their big ships around. Luckily for the Athenians were small enough to fit through. At this time the Greeks had defeated the Persians and sank 300 of their ships.
The Greeks and Persians fought one more time called Battle of Plataea. They had over 100,000 on each side but the Greeks still defeated the Persian Army. The Persians could not ever control any city states now . Ultimately, both Persia and Greece made amends with each other and they established peace with each other. The Persian empire weakened and later died down.
