Storyboard Text

  • Title
  • Paraphrase
  • Connotation and Attitude/Tone
  • Possibly about a little girl.
  • Shift/Structure
  • There is a young man and young lady that fall in love. Their love is so strong that the angels in heaven get jealous and kill the girl. The boy gets so sad that he sleeps outside her tomb every night.
  • Title
  • The attitude is happy in the beginning when describing their love but turns cold and dark when Annabel Lee gets taken away and killed. Connotative words are envy, chilling and killing, tomb, and dissever.
  • Theme
  • I think the shift is in the third stanza, when Annabel Lee is taken. The structure is in stanzas. There is no set syllable count or rhyme.
  • A girl, Annabel Lee, that someone is in love with.
  • The theme of Annabel Lee is that true love never dies.
