Storyboard Text

  • The Teenage Brain
  • Drugs and alcohol affect teens more than adults - teen's pleasure centers mature faster than their decision making centers, so they are more likely to make rash decisions.
  • Some seemingly reckless behavior by teens may be because of stress - stress can lead to neglected responsibilities, negative thinking, anxiety, and more.
  • Emotion affects the teen brain very much and can either bring someone else down or build them up.
  • Not getting enough sleep is really affecting my way of thinking. When I don't get enough sleep it makes me show a rude and non-motivated attitude which really affects my day.
  • the amount peer pressure really affects my way of thinking.  The more i listen to peer pressure the less i am able to make rationale decisions on my own. And my ability of saying no is getting worse.
