  • Mary Beth Tinker was a 13-year-old junior high school student in December 1965 when she and a group of students decided to wear black armbands to school to protest the war in Vietnam.
  • The kids wanted to exercise there freedom of speech but the school didn’t like it
  • All children should be able to have freedom of speech
  • Amendment 1 and 14 every body should the freedom of speech ,religion ,petition and assembly . Every body born in the U.S is a citizen
  • This case determined that every one even kids should have a voice in their city, state , and country
