When Julia hands Winston, Winston was hoping a message from a rebel group that is against the big brother, however it is a note written “ I LOVE YOU” . He wasn't sure if it's true, but later on they planned to meet in the bushes. We soon knowledge that Julia is likes him and also hates the way the party works. As they fell in love with each other the rebellious act of love grew in side them, in result the hatred in them towards the party grew bigger and bigger. I chose this scene because it shows the power of love can overcome any situation and obstacles and more importantly it shows the climax between the couples. Furthermore, the bird above Julia’s head and the outdoor setting are a symbol of freedom that both Julia and Winston is seeking for.
