Storyboard Text

  • Once upon a midnight dreary.
  • While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping.
  • From my books surcease of sorrow- sorrow for the lost Lenore.
  • One dark, cold, rainy night a while ago.
  • In there stepped a stately Raven of the saintly days of yore.
  • A man was reading and almost napping when he heard tapping on his door.
  • Perched upon a bust of Pallas just above my chamber door.
  • He thought it was his dead wife Lenore's spirit. But when he went to look nothing was there.
  • "Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form off my door!"
  • Then he heard the tapping again and opened the window and a raven flew in.
  • The Raven then landed on the Bust of Pallas above the door.
  • The Raven answered nevermore to every question and the man then got frustratedand yelled at the bird to get out.
