  • Act I, Scene V
  • "Murder? Hast me to know't, that I, with wings as swift As mediation or the thoughts of love, May sweep to my revenge."
  • "Hamlet,I am thy Father's spirit, revenge his foul and most unnatural murder."
  • Act III, Scene II
  • Hamlet gives the actors a script that recreates his father's murder. He wants to see Claudius's reaction to determine if he's guilty. To his expectation Claudius is surprised at the play confirming Hamlet's suspicion.
  • Act III, Scene III
  • " O, my offense is rank it smells to heaven; It hath the primal eldest curse upon't A brother's murder." ~ King Claudius
  • "Now might I do it pat, now he is praying, And now I'll do't. And so he goes to heaven, And so amI revenged." ~Hamlet
