Should I go through the woods and walk less than 2 miles home or walk through the streets and walk more than 3 miles home?
Now, across this bridge and walk more than 1 mile or to that house and walk less than 1 mile?
Pay more than $1 but less than $5 to get through...
Oh man, what was that?! I don't have money! I can't pay!
One day, Jack Smith was walking home from school. However, he was feeling very lazy and was tempted to go take the short route through the woods home instead of the long way through the streets.
Uh oh... I don't have money! I'd better run
You dare pass through here without giving me money? Give it now...
You can give me less than $10... but give me AT LEAST $5!!!
GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!
Jack decided to go through the woods and finds another split: He can either go across the bridge and take a longer route home or go walk towards a creepy house in the distance and take another shortcut.
Let's see... There's definitely less than 1000 feet to home, but more than 500...
I gotta hurry!
Jack decided to take another shortcut by going to the creepy shack. In the shack, though, a mysterious voice called out demanding Jack to pay money to get past.
You know what, it's such a nice day. We can go hiking in the woods before 2 P.M. or after 7 P.M.!
Jack started to walk around the shack anyways, but a crooked-nosed, mysterious figure in an odd hat limped from the shack and demanded even more money from Jack.
Jack decided to run away from this man, who chased him with surprising speed. He could not keep this sprinting up for much longer, so he had to figure out how much more he had to run to reach his house.
When Jack finally reaches his house, his father Robert is there to greet him. However, he has some plans for the rest of the day...
