Your MOOD is how you feel at any given time of the day. A positive mood helps make things fun!
Your mood can change pretty easily, depending on what's going on.
A CLOSED mindset says that I fell off of the swing once, so I'm NEVER trying it again!
An OPEN mindset says that I will keep trying until I can swing with a friend!
Yey! This is fun!
I'm nervous, but I can do this! I'm coming, Molly!
MOTIVATION is what makes us want to do things, even when they might be hard or take time to learn.
Come on over!
So to put it all together, this water might be your MOOD... calm and happy. The grass field behind us is your MINDSET ... open and inviting. Your MOTIVATION is like Molly back there ... ready to climb mountains with positivity that you will reach the top. Molly knows that it might be hard, and you might have to stop and restart a couple of times, but you will get to the top!!

But what about the times when my mood is mad, or sad, and I don't think I can do anything right? Then I don't even want to try.
Yep, that may happen. That's OK! Then you might want to take a break and do something that makes you feel happy and positive... Maybe drawing or playing with your dog for a few minutes.
I RUFF that idea!
Here's the great news! Most times, if you can walk yourself out of that cave of bad mood, closed mindset or low motivation, there are happy times ahead!
