Storyboard Text

  • The main conflict in the story The Hunger Game is that Katniss has to survive the hunger games for her family, her friends, and for herself.
  • Climax
  • Effie Trinket chooses the tributes and then escorts them to the capital to get them ready for the games. Everybody was waiting patientally when they pickd the girls name and she picks Katniss's sisters name so she volunteers for her and then peeta gets chosen. Then they are taken off to the capital then they realize what they are finally getting into with this hunger games.
  • Falling Action
  • After the picking of the hunger games the tributes go into a training center and very wealthy people in the capital go and evaluate the tributes and give them sponsors. During the trials Katniss and Peeta were confronted by the careers who were poking fun at them which then leads into what Katniss does next when she shoots the bow and arrow up into the evaluates that hits the apple in the pigs mouth and impressing most of them when her trainer thought it would ruin everything.
  • Resolution
  • The hunger games is about to begin so she thinks about what her family and friends could do without her so she wants to win even more. She starts to play everything safe and makes sure her and Peeta will win.
  • After the hunger games begins and the blood bath of people running into the cornucopia right after it starts Katniss is being chased and runs and climbs into a tree. After she is in the tree she realizes that there are tracker jackers wasps in the tree after Rue points the nest out. Then she remembers that the wasps are highly fatal. So cuts down the nest onto the Cato, Glimmer, Peeta and kills Glimmer and clove but Cato and Peeta get away.
  • At the end of the story Peeta and Katniss survive and win the hunger games and their parents don't have to worry about them anymore becuase they have survived and they can both go back home to their family and friends. Also, they get a victory tour of the cities and celebrate their victory.
