Wow there is so much more to modern writing. I am glad I learned about it and I hope you are too.
In the revolutionary war many soldiers used quills to write. Fun fact the declaration of independence was written with a quill pen. The reason for this is that the quill pen was the writing utensil of colonial america.
People burning paper so they can get bulk paper, because it is cheaper people started asking for bulk paper to be the main paper in 1450.
